We love

L'Isle-en-Dodon, located halfway between Toulouse and the Pyrenees, is an authentic village in the heart of Comminges and an 11th century fortified town with its pretty houses, awnings and half-timbered buildings; typical of the Gascon region. From La Rivière you can easily follow La Save into town to explore the small historic center, have a drink on a café terrace or shop for local produce at the Saturday market. A hilly region worth exploring to discover the authentic Gascon villages nearby, with beautiful little streets and magnificent views of the Pyrenees. There are several walks to choose from that leave directly from the house, on foot or by bike.

A multitude of pretty little villages to explore full of charm and history.
